A structural website audit that grades what actually wins you business.

Most audits run a scan and hand you a score. Ours doesn’t. A WEBPRO structural audit is a human grade of the parts that decide whether a website earns patients and clients: whether visitors can convert, whether search and AI engines can read you, and whether the foundation can carry your content at all. We grade the critical aspects honestly, and we’re willing to fail a good-looking site to tell you the truth.

The grade answers one question a scan never will: can this site be fixed where it stands, or does it need to be rebuilt right from the ground up.

9+structural categories graded on every audit, from architecture to AI readiness.
100point scale that rolls the category grades into one honest verdict.
1question the audit answers: improve it in place, or rebuild it properly.
0patches on a broken foundation. When the framework is the problem, we rebuild.

A beautiful page can’t save a broken structure.

We’ve audited practices with genuinely impressive credentials. Board-certified doctors, hundreds of five-star reviews, service pages written with real care. And we’ve watched all of it go to waste, because the structure underneath couldn’t carry it.

When a phone number is missing from the template, it’s missing from every page. When a call to action points at an empty anchor, every click that lands on it is a patient lost at the moment of intent. When there’s no schema, search and AI engines can’t confirm who you are or what you do. These aren’t polish items. They’re the fundamentals a local practice competes on, and they break at the template level.

That’s why we look at structure first. Design is what a visitor admires. Structure is what decides whether they ever call.

Content that never gets foundStrong service pages sit isolated, with weak or dead links into them.
Conversions that quietly bleedContact details and booking paths missing where the decision happens.
A site engines can’t readNo schema, thin markup, and nothing built for AI-driven discovery.
A structure built to carry the storyEvery strength placed where patients and engines can act on it.

What we grade, and why each level matters.

The audit is scored on multiple levels because a website succeeds or fails on multiple levels. Each category earns its own grade and its own finding, and together they show us whether the foundation is sound or whether it’s working against everything built on top of it.

01

Information architecture

Whether the site is a structured journey or a flat brochure. Do visitors always know where they are, and can they reach the next step without hunting for it.

02

Conversion & local fundamentals

The name, address, phone, hours, and booking paths that decide whether intent turns into a call. Missing here is the most serious structural failure we find.

03

Navigation & calls to action

Whether the primary links and buttons lead somewhere real. Dead anchors and self-referencing links turn every click into a dead end.

04

Service & content depth

Whether each offering has a real page with process, proof, and answers, or whether distinct services are buried together in long-scroll content.

05

Schema & structured data

The markup that lets search and AI engines confirm your practice, your people, your services, and your reviews. In 2026 this isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s infrastructure.

06

Metadata & technical signals

Titles, descriptions, redirects, and the quiet contamination, like staging-domain references left in production, that erodes a domain’s trust.

07

AI & answer-engine readiness

Whether your content is structured to be cited by AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, or whether you’re effectively invisible to them.

08

Social proof & E-E-A-T

Whether real credentials, authorship, and reviews are structured to build trust, or left as repetitive, under-leveraged assets.

One grade, weighted toward what actually costs you patients.

The category scores roll up into a single number out of 100. We don’t average our way to a comfortable middle. The grade is weighted toward the parts of the structure that decide whether a visitor converts, so a site can hold real strengths and still land low when the fundamentals are broken at the foundation.

A grade in the C range often isn’t a content problem at all. It’s a foundation problem wearing good content on top. And a grade in the 30s usually means the structure was assembled rather than designed, and no amount of patching will lift it past a marginally-improved version of the same site.

Every audit ends with one overall structural grade and a plain recommendation: improve in place, or rebuild from the ground up.

Two different practices. The same structural verdict.

These are two real audits, shown without names. Different industries, different content, and yet the foundation failed the same way in both. When a site is assembled rather than designed, the pattern repeats no matter what business it’s for. Both grades pointed to the same answer: rebuild.

Orthodontic Practice

Recommendation: ground-up redesign
Information architectureD
Conversion & local fundamentalsF
Navigation & CTAsD-
Schema & structured dataF

Real strengths in credentials, reviews, and service content. But contact details were missing from the templates and primary calls to action dead-ended on empty anchors, so the fundamentals broke at the foundation.

Specialty Medical Practice
F
38 / 100
Recommendation: complete ground-up rebuild
Schema & structured dataF
AI & answer-engine readinessF
Page architecture & depthD
Local & multi-locationD-

Exceptional physicians and hundreds of five-star reviews, on a site migrated without cleanup. Staging-domain references were left hardcoded in production, and there was zero schema anywhere, so search and AI engines couldn’t read the practice at all.

Neither site was failing for lack of substance. Both were failing because the structure couldn’t carry the substance they had. That’s the case a structural audit is built to catch, and it’s why the honest answer, in both, was to build it right from the ground up.

When the framework is the problem, we don’t patch.

Some sites need a few fixes. We’ll tell you when that’s the case. But when the problems live in the framework rather than the content, patching is the more expensive path, not the cheaper one.

Retrofitting schema onto templates that were never built to hold it. Adding contact details to pages one at a time. Replacing dead anchors. Bolting on the pages that should have existed from the start. Each patch fights the original assembly. A rebuild does the work once.

So when the audit shows the foundation itself is holding you back, our recommendation is direct: a clean, ground-up rebuild, designed from day one for current search and AI standards, on a structure that matches the quality of the work you already do.

Patchfixes symptoms one page at a time, and fights the framework the whole way
Rebuildcorrects the foundation once, then carries every strength on top of it

Questions about the structural audit.

It's a full diagnostic of the technical, content, and performance factors affecting your site's search visibility - indexability, site speed, structure, content quality, and more - pinpointing exactly what's holding your rankings back and what to fix first.

It examines technical health (crawlability, indexability, Core Web Vitals and speed), on-page and content factors, structured data, and the issues limiting organic performance, then prioritizes fixes by impact.

You receive a prioritized findings report identifying the issues costing you rankings and the recommended fixes, so you have a clear action plan whether WEBPRO implements it or your own team does.

A thorough audit is the standard way to diagnose traffic and ranking losses - isolating technical faults, content decay, indexation problems, or algorithm-related causes so the real reason is identified rather than guessed at.

We’ll grade your site’s structure on every level that matters, then tell you the truth about it: what to fix, what to keep, and whether it’s time to build something that finally matches your work.
